About us
Born to Race
CL Motorsport was founded in 2022 by Jack and David Li in Desenzano del Garda, a picturesque town on the shores of Lake Garda, a location that holds a special place in the heart of motorsport enthusiasts. Nestled in Northern Italy, this region is renowned for its deep connection to karting, being home to the iconic South Garda Karting track, often referred to as the “Centre of the Karting Universe.” It’s here that many of today’s Formula 1 rising stars took their very first steps, transforming raw talent into global success.
With this heritage as inspiration, CL Motorsport has spent the past three years preparing meticulously for its highly anticipated debut in 2025 in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA).

Thomas has worked with teams across Europe, gaining expertise in everything from single-seaters to endurance racing. His ability to stay composed under extreme pressure, combined with his exceptional mechanical skills, has earned him the respect of both his colleagues and aspiring mechanics alike.
