CL MOTORSPORT HEADS TO HUNGARORING WITH TWO-CAR LINEUP

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine returns to action after a month-long break, with Round 4 set to unfold at the challenging Hungaroring circuit just outside Budapest.

CL Motorsport will field a two-car entry for the second time this season, with Michael Belov continuing his campaign alongside Zachary David, who makes his season debut with the team.

Measuring 4.381 km and renowned for its tight, twisty layout, the Hungaroring demands precision, rhythm, and full concentration. Often likened to a karting circuit on a grand scale, the track features 14 corners and limited overtaking opportunities—making qualifying performance especially critical.

CL Motorsport Team Owner Representative David Li commented:

“The Hungaroring is a real driver’s circuit, and one that offers little margin for error. We’re pleased to welcome Zachary David to our program and to continue our path with Michael, who has proven to be a valuable asset. Fielding two drivers is a great step forward in our development strategy.”

Zachary David said:

“I’m excited to join CL Motorsport and finally get back behind the wheel in FRECA. The Hungaroring is a circuit I know and enjoy, and I’m looking forward to working with the team and learning from Michael as we build up over the weekend.”

Michael Belov added:

“I’ve had some decent races at the Hungaroring in the past, and I’m looking forward to returning with CL Motorsport. It’s a tough track, but if we get everything right, we can come away with a strong result.”

Track action begins on Thursday with the Collective Tests, followed by Qualifying and Race sessions across Friday and Saturday.
