CL MOTORSPORT SET FOR THREE-CAR LINE-UP AT ROUND 7 IN SPIELBERG

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine resumes this weekend after the summer break, as the paddock heads to Red Bull Ring in the Austria for Round 7 of the 2025 season.

For the first time this year, CL Motorsport will field a three-driver line-up. Michael Belov returns as the team’s consistent reference point, joined by two rookies making their FRECA debut: Newman Chi and Enea Frey.

Set in the Styrian hills, the 4.318 km Red Bull Ring is known for its combination of long straights, heavy braking zones, and fast corners. Its layout rewards power and precision, making track position and consistency crucial across the race weekend—especially for drivers new to the series.

David Li, CL Motorsport’s Team Owner Representative, commented: “Coming back from the summer break, it’s exciting to expand our line-up and give an opportunity to two young drivers in Newman and Enea. Michael remains our benchmark and a great mentor for the team. The goal is to integrate the rookies quickly, keep learning, and stay competitive in all conditions.”

Michael Belov said: “It’s great to be back after the break. Most is a new venue for many of us, so getting up to speed early will be important. I’m looking forward to working with the expanded team and helping us all move forward together.”

Newman Chi added: “I’m really proud to make my debut in FRECA with CL Motorsport. I know it’s a big step, but I’ve been preparing hard and I’m ready to give my best. It’s a great chance to learn and grow at this level.”

Enea Frey said: “Joining FRECA is a fantastic opportunity and I’m grateful to do it with a team like CL Motorsport. I’ll approach the weekend with focus and determination—Most is a technical track, but I’m excited to take on the challenge.”
