CL Motorsport kicked off its 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine campaign this past weekend at the Misano World Circuit, debuting with the Italian Valerio Rinicella.
From Thursday’s collective test through to Sunday’s race, the team demonstrated remarkable progress across all areas—working procedures, racing performance, and technical issue resolution despite the limited time spent on track in the pre-season testing days. The weekend served not only as a competitive debut, but also as a key development step for both the team staff.

Valerio Rinicella impressed throughout the event with his professionalism and ability to adapt quickly to the new environment.
Unfortunately, Race 2 ended prematurely following a contact on track. Despite the setback, the weekend delivered many positives.
CL Motorsport leaves Misano with valuable experience and renewed confidence.
David Li, Team Owner Representative: “I’m truly proud of the work the team delivered throughout this opening race weekend. Misano was a major challenge, we were up competing teams with great experience in FRECA, but we adapted quickly, improving session by session.”
“Everyone within the team showed dedication, clarity, and a strong collaborative spirit, tackling every situation, even the toughest ones, with professionalism and a hunger to grow. We now look ahead to the next events with confidence; we’ve laid solid foundations to keep building and competing at a high level.”
The team now looks ahead to the next round, motivated by the progress made and eager to continue its development.
