CL Motorsport concluded Round 5 of the championship at the Hungaroring this weekend, in what proved to be an intense but consistently improving round for the team as a whole.
Across the weekend, all drivers showed clear progress, gathering valuable experience and continuing to develop both pace and understanding of the car in demanding conditions.
For Noah Lisle, this marked his first appearance with the team at the circuit. He demonstrated a strong and rapid ability to adapt, quickly building confidence and improving session after session. The team is pleased with the positive trajectory shown throughout the weekend.
In Qualifying 1, Noah Lisle finished P10 in his group, Jules Roussel P13, while Reno Francot showed strong pace with P3 in his group. However, a technical infringement meant Francot was required to start Race 1 from the back of the grid, and a subsequent issue with the car forced him to retire, preventing him from converting his strong qualifying performance.
In Qualifying 2, Reno Francot placed P5 in his group, Noah Lisle P14, and Jules Roussel P13.
In Race 1, Noah finished P16, Jules P18, while Francot was classified as DNF. In Race 2, the team achieved a more positive result, with Francot securing a strong P5 finish and valuable championship points. Noah finished P16, while Jules crossed the line in P22.
David Li, Team Coordinator at CL Motorsport, commented:
“Overall, it was a challenging weekend but also a very productive one in terms of learning. Reno showed excellent pace but was unlucky not to fully capitalise in Race 1. Noah adapted quickly to a new circuit with the team, which is very encouraging for his development. Jules continued to make steady progress and is building confidence step by step. We leave Hungary with useful data and clear positives to build on for the next round.”
Overall, the weekend highlighted steady progress across the board, with encouraging signs from all drivers and important data gathered for the upcoming rounds.
CL Motorsport now turns its attention to the next event, focused on continuing this development path.
