CL Motorsport reopens to F4 program

CL Motorsport is set to reactivate its Formula 4 operations, laying the groundwork for a return to the category. As a key step in this expansion, the team will launch a dedicated testing campaign ahead of its targeted full championship return next year

As part of this process, the team will take part in the 2026 Winter Program, using the opportunity to further strengthen its technical programme, gain valuable experience and begin building foundations for a competitive future campaign.

Over the past seasons, CL Motorsport has successfully established itself within the highly competitive Formula Regional European Championship, collecting multiple podium finishes, scoring valuable championship points and gaining experience on some of the most prestigious circuits in international motorsport. This journey has allowed the team to develop its expertise, expand its technical knowledge and continue investing in the next generation of racing talent.

Exploring a return to Italian Formula 4 represents a natural step forward for the team, reinforcing its commitment to driver development and creating a clear pathway for young drivers aiming to progress through the single-seater ranks.

“We are extremely excited to announce that we are testing our F4 programs, with the aim of joining a championship in the near future,” said General Manager David Li. “This is an important step for CL Motorsport and a project we have been working on for some time. Our experience in Formula Regional has allowed us to grow significantly as a team, both technically and operationally, while competing on some of the most iconic circuits in motorsport.”

“Taking part in the 2026 Winter Program will be a valuable opportunity to prepare for the future, and we cannot wait to begin this new chapter. We are looking forward to welcoming talented young drivers and building a strong programme ahead.”

With preparations already underway, CL Motorsport looks ahead to this exciting new challenge with ambition, determination and the desire to continue its growth within international motorsport.
