CL Motorsport is ready to tackle Round 3 of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, taking place this weekend at the iconic Circuit of Zandvoort.
Following a solid showing at Spa-Francorchamps, the team will once again field Michael Belov, continuing its campaign in one of Europe’s most competitive single-seater series. The 4.259 km track, nestled along the North Sea dunes, is known for its fast, technical layout and its banked corners—offering a unique challenge for drivers and engineers alike.
David Li, CL Motorsport’s Team Owner Representative, commented: “Zandvoort is a demanding circuit and an excellent proving ground for both driver and team. We are happy to continue with Michael, whose experience and professionalism are key to our development program. We aim to build consistency and continue our upward trend within the championship.”
Michael Belov added: “I’m glad to be back with CL Motorsport for Zandvoort. We’ve shown promising pace so far, and I’m confident we can keep improving. It’s a challenging track, but one I really enjoy. Let’s make the most of this weekend.”
Belov, 23, will carry the team’s colors in both races scheduled over the weekend. He will first take to the track on Thursday for the Collective Tests, ahead of Qualifying and Race sessions on Friday and Saturday.
