The sixth round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine wrapped up at the historic Imola circuit, with CL Motorsport once again showing solid pace.
Michael Belov delivered a strong performance in Race 2, crossing the line in 7th position, while Zachary David completed a valuable race close to the top10, gaining experience and important data.
The technical and challenging layout of the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari demanded precision from start to finish and the team showed a great progress along sessions.
David Li, Team Owner Representative: “A positive outcome for the whole team. Michael delivered a mature drive and brought home a strong result, while Zachary showed great determination and focus. We’re making steady progress, finishing once again in the top 10. The goal for the second part of the season is to keep the points streak alive.”
Michael Belov: “I’m happy with the result – finishing P7 here at Imola is a strong step forward. The race pace was good and the team gave me a solid car. We’re working well together and I’m confident we can keep building from here.”
Zachary David: “It wasn’t an easy race, but we made real progress. Finishing P14 gave me more track time and data, and every lap helps me improve the connection with the car. I’m feeling more and more confident every weekend.”
With this round now complete, CL Motorsport looks ahead to the next challenge on the calendar, ready to keep growing and pushing for more.
