Good progress in the FRMET round 3

CL Motorsport concluded the third round of the Formula Regional Middle East Trophy at the Dubai Autodrome with encouraging progress throughout the weekend, focusing on data collection and continuous improvements session after session.

Across the three days on track, the team worked intensively to understand the circuit conditions and extract the maximum potential from the car-package, making step-by-step gains as the weekend unfolded.

The hard work paid off in Race 2, where Newman Chi secured an impressive P4, bringing home valuable points for the team. Both Enea Frey and Reno Francot also delivered solid performances, finishing close to the Top 10 and showing promising pace in a highly competitive field.

David Li, Team Owner Representative of CL Motorsport, commented:

“This weekend was all about building and learning. The team made consistent progress every day, and Race 2 was a clear indication of the improvements we achieved. P4 is a strong result, and seeing all three drivers fighting close to the Top 10 gives us confidence. We are moving in the right direction and will keep pushing.”

CL Motorsport now turns its focus to the upcoming event, carrying forward the lessons learned in Dubai and aiming to take another step forward.

The team is looking forward to the next round of the Formula Regional Middle East Trophy.
