The opening round of the FIA Formula Regional European Championship proved to be highly competitive, with a mix of challenges and positive takeaways for the team as development continues.
The highlight of the weekend came in Race 3, where Reno Francot delivered an outstanding performance to secure victory, and a P3 in Race 2, marking a strong start to the season.
Enea Frey showed strong determination throughout the weekend. After an unfortunate Race 2, he bounced back with an impressive recovery drive, demonstrating both resilience and pace.
Jules Roussel continued his learning process, gaining valuable experience across all sessions and making consistent progress over the course of the event.
Overall, the team leaves the first round with important positives and clear signs of progress, building a solid foundation for the rest of the season.
David Li, Team Coordinator, commented:
“It’s been a very intense first weekend for us. We knew the level of competition would be extremely high, and overall we can be satisfied with the progress we’ve made. Reno did an excellent job in Race 3, and it’s great to see Enea reacting strongly after a difficult moment in Race 2. Jules is continuing to learn and adapt well. There’s still work to do, but we’re moving in the right direction and we’re looking forward to the next round.”
The team now shifts its focus to the next round, aiming to build on this momentum and continue pushing for strong results.
